A design solution can be critically evaluated by asking the following set of questions:

1. Does the application allow fulfilling the main user tasks efficiently?

2. Is the navigation model clear and intuitive and consistent?

3. Is information and content presented clearly?

4. Is the language and terminology familiar to the user and used consistently throughout the application?

5. Are controls used consistently within the application and in relation to the platform style?

6. Does the application provide relevant feedback to the user?

7. Is information entry made as easy as possible?

8. Does the application guide the user and provide help if necessary?

9. Does the application cope well with error situations: are they easy to understand and can the user recover easily?

10. Is the design simple and desirable – does it include everything necessary but nothing extraneous?

1. 熟悉业务:业务流程的有效执行是企业正常运转的基础，作为IT支撑人员（不管是ISV还是实施），都需要对所在行业，所在领域范围内的核心业务熟悉。不仅要懂，还要创新；理解行业规范并懂得结合工作实际变通。某些行业的大型系统有可能包括很多子系统，需要对这些子系统间的信息交换要有透彻理解。并能提炼出行业内部的一整套业务模型，类似银行业务模型，电信计费模型，电力运营模型等。

3. 功底扎实，技能专一:学贵在精，经验多了，岔路也多，需要在浩瀚的知识和技能中，选择几样核心的技术来掌握。不能贪多，也不能只懂皮毛，只懂皮毛，还不如不懂。要选能有效提高生产率和投资者回报及企业收益的技能。检验你技能的有效方法是，能快速高效的解决随时产生的问题，并能有效避免问题产生。
4. 有一套成熟的方法论:方法论是一套行动准则，也是一套最佳实践。不管企业，行业，还是个人；都应有一套或多套方法轮来运用于日常实践中。比如Agile方法论能有效促进软件开发效率和质量提升；埃森哲和IBM等大型咨询公司的客户化实施方法论及产品化实施方法论能保证大型项目能成功实施；企业的内部方法论，能保证企业生产的产品在客户化实时和产品部署应用中，有效为客户服务。方法论犹如一套组织合理的知识库，能帮助相关人员快速响应，正确响应，快速解决问题和规避风险;做为老员工的你，更应在方法论制定和贯彻中负有重要义务。
5. 会做PPT,会做演示和讲解:此点亦即有效沟通，发展到这个阶段，你会面对开发人员，企业管理者，客户等形形色色的受众。你要保证将你头脑中的理念有效分享给你所面对的人。而最重要的手段，即为PPT+研究。必须会做，而且要做的好。特别在中国，东西是做出来的，但更重要的是，东西是要讲出来的。
6. 随时记录和共享工作心得:要养成勤记录，好记录的习惯；很多好的想法转瞬即逝，很多火花都是从平时的点滴积累。要持续保持开发的心态。在这个时代，是理所当然的。但也要注意知识产权保护。）
7. 和睦的家庭,身体健康，爱运动:身体是革命的本期，家庭是坚实的后盾。在这个行业，爱运动，真的很需要。）
8. 经常参加社会活动:这即是提高自己的知名度和感召力，更能宽阔自己的视野，千万别做井底之蛙。
9. 淡定:有些人说，做这行很辛苦；而有些人说，做这行很快乐。你呢。

Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Services (MBMS). Performance specifications for
advanced receivers. WLAN integration option. IMS enhancements. Initial VoIP
capability.

Release 7: Completed. Provides enhanced GSM data functionality with Evolved
EDGE. Specifies HSPA Evolution (HSPA+), which includes higher order modulation
and MIMO. Provides fine-tuning and incremental improvements of features from
previous releases. Results include performance enhancements, improved spectral
efficiency, increased capacity, and better resistance to interference. Continuous
Packet Connectivity (CPC) enables efficient “always-on” service and enhanced
uplink UL VoIP capacity as well as reductions in call set-up delay for PoC. Radio
enhancements to HSPA include 64 QAM in the downlink DL and 16 QAM in the
uplink. Also includes optimization of MBMS capabilities through the
multicast/broadcast single-frequency network (MBSFN) function.


Release 8: Under development. Comprises further HSPA Evolution features such
as simultaneous use of MIMO and 64 QAM. Includes work item for dual-carrier
HSPA (DC-HSPA) where two WCDMA radio channels can be combined for a
doubling of throughput performance. Specifies OFDMA-based 3GPP LTE. Defines
EPC.

Release 9: Expected to include HSPA and LTE enhancements.


Release 10: Expected to specify LTE Advanced that meets the requirements set
by ITU’s IMT-Advanced project.

1. No reusability. The least interesting of all. It’s typically a standalone application that was designed to serve a finite set of goals and not be extensible by anybody else but its creator.
   
2. Binary reusability. While the source is not available, binary reusability enables third parties to write extensions to the software. Microsoft COM is the best example of such an approach, and it’s been tremendously successful. For example, even though you don’t have access to Internet Explorer’s HTML renderer, you can still embed it in your applications and take advantage of all its power (Yahoo Messenger uses it but you would probably never tell).
   
3. Plug-in reusability. This is very similar to the binary approach mentioned above but with the difference that the operating system is not involved in the connection between the plug-in and the core architecture. Eclipse is a good example of such an approach, which can also be used in the absence of the source.
   
4. Source reusability. The software is shipped with its entire source code, making it possible — in theory — for everyone to extend it at will.
